Antonio Brown is a contracted player who plays for the Oakland Raiders. As a part of his contract, there are rules you have to adhere to or else you will get penalized. Every single player from Tom Brady to the undrafted free agent your team just signed follows these same rules.
Brown missed time this preseason which, as a part of the contract he signed, he needs to be penalized for. But AB clearly doesn’t agree.
“When your own team want to hate but there’s no stopping me now Devil is a lie. Everyone got to pay this year so we clear”
What’s this guys problem? I’ve heard of diva wide receivers but this clown takes it to the next level!
My man, no matter what job you have, there’s one universal rule: you gotta show up. If you don’t show up, then you’ll get in trouble. Getting fined. Getting fired. Something. You didn’t show up because you didn’t like the way the new helmets looked on you. You deserve to be fined for that and you were.
End of story.
But no, not with Mr. Big Chest. He’ll always get the last laugh. Calling out his team publicly on Instagram and then saying “everyone got to pay this year” isn’t a good look! Brown was allowed to get away with anything he wanted under player friendly Mike Tomlin, and looks what that’s created. A player that truly believes he’s above the league and can do whatever he wants. It’s ridiculous.
I know the Raiders won’t do it, but they should sit him. Let’s be real, that team isn’t going anywhere this year. Sit him down. I’d say trade him, but at this point who’s gonna want him? The guy seems to enjoy burning every bridge he steps over so why would any team wanna bring that type of a distraction into their locker room?
Nothing this guy says or does is genuine. Everything he does is for HIS brand. He does not care about his team or his teammates. If he did, he would’ve sucked it up and actually showed up! You can’t tell me you love me then contradict yourself with every action you do from then on out.
Shit like his makes me so happy that I have a team ran by Bill Belichick filled with professional, selfless players like Tom Brady, Matthew Slater, Devin McCourty, Julian Edelman and so many more. When you let clowns like AB run the show, how can you expect anything other than a circus?
Raiders record this year: 6-10.
